Get hands-on with clay in The Miniature Pottery, a two-hour wheel-throwing workshop in Singapore that shrinks the traditional pottery experience down to palm-sized proportions. Using a miniature electric pottery wheel, you’ll learn the same foundational techniques used on a full-sized wheel, including centering, opening, and pulling clay into shape. The smaller scale makes every movement easy to feel and observe, making this an accessible introduction for beginners. No prior pottery experience is required.

During the session, you can throw up to two miniature ceramic pieces, such as tiny bowls, cups, or vessels, depending on what takes shape on the wheel. After class, the studio handles the drying, processing, glazing, and kiln firing for you. A transparent glaze is applied as standard, creating a finished piece that is food-safe, microwave-safe, and dishwasher-safe where the fired piece remains intact. Your finished creations are typically ready for collection approximately 8–12 weeks after the workshop.
