The experience begins at the Comarka base, located in El Chalten (Av. San Martin 625). The guides hand out the technical and safety equipment necessary to carry out the activity. Once equipped, they will be transported by truck about 21 km along RP 41, towards Lago del Desierto. The navigation starts at the Laguna Cóndor Viewpoint. Upon arrival, the navigators are equipped with a jacket, life vest, and helmet, and then a technical and safety talk is given. The section of the river that is navigated is characterized by being shallow and having many meanders. The Patagonian Andean forest is crossed and Fitz Roy profiles its north face on the horizon. You navigate 12 km from Laguna Condor to the Fitz Roy viewpoint. The navigation lasts approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, depending on the river flow and wind conditions. Halfway through the journey, we will make a stop to enjoy a delicious country brunch and then continue to the drop-off point, Fitz Roy Viewpoint (10 km from El Chaltén). Once there, the transfer will take us back to El Chaltén. End of activity 2 pm.
