- Package F only includes the gondola ticket
- Snow play packages are not offered this year. If you wish to participate in snow play, please book package F and rent the toboggan and boots on-site

About lift tickets and gondola free tickets
Lift ticket (1 day, 2 day, 4 hour)
- You can ride the gondola, lift, and ropeway at GALA Yuzawa.
- You can ride as many times as you like within the usage time.
- If you plan to ski or snowboard, please purchase tickets at the facility.
Gondola Free Ticket
- Only gondolas are available for rides.
- You can ride as many times as you like during gondola operating hours.
- If you are not skiing, please purchase a gondola free pass.
* Up to two preschool children under elementary school age may enter free of charge per adult.
(Three or more children will be charged the elementary school student rate)
* Only skis and snowboards are permitted on the slopes.
* Customers using sleds should use the "Snow Play Park" slope, which is exclusively for sleds.
* Customers without skis or snowboards cannot ride the lifts. (Excluding the gondola and the "Barouche" lift in the central area)
* Opening hours may change depending on the weather, etc.
Shinkansen
- Get off at "GALA YUZAWA STATION" on the Joetsu Shinkansen
- Get off at Echigo-Yuzawa Station on the Joetsu Shinkansen
Free Shuttle Bus
- If you are coming from Echigo Yuzawa Station or Yuzawa Onsen Town, please use this free Shuttle Bus.
- From GALA Yuzawa to Echigo Yuzawa Station, it's a direct Shuttle Bus.
- Please check the Regular Period timetable when planning your journey.
Four-company joint Shuttle Bus
- From GALA Yuzawa to Echigo Yuzawa Station and the hot spring town.
- Then, travel to Ishiuchi Maruyama Ski Resort by Shuttle Bus.

By Car
- From Tokyo: Approximately 3km (approximately 5 minutes) from Yuzawa IC on the Kan-etsu Expressway
- Get off at Yuzawa IC on the Kan-etsu Expressway
- Turn right onto National Route 17 towards Niigata
- Turn left at the "GALA Entrance" sign
- From Niigata: Approximately 6km (approximately 13 minutes) from Shiozawa Ishiuchi IC on the Kan'etsu Expressway
- Take the Kan-etsu Expressway and get off at Shiozawa Ishiuchi IC
- Turn left onto Route 17 towards Tokyo.
- Immediately after passing the snow shed, turn right at the sign "GALA Entrance" on your right.
- Go up the hill on the right side of the right curve

If you are not a snow boarder or ski I suggest using the moon bike for experience in the snow, but only for a while. Not much to do after that. But my kid love the sledge.
AMAZING experience! A lot of the staff there are quite fluent in English, so if you speak zero Japanese or very little you won't feel out of place. The day I chose to go snowed for almost 3 hours straight but I didn't let that stop me from enjoying fresh powder. Had it not been for that I would have been able to experience the moon bikes! (Minnesota native)
The skiing was great after I realised how to use the voucher. The main problem is that the voucher states to redeem it at any JR East office which is the wrong instructions. I took it to JR East and they were also totally confused by it. When I took the voucher to the lift ticket booth on the mountain everything was quick and easy. You need to fix the instructions on the voucher to avoid hours wasted time at JR East.
