In this culinary tour, learn to cook authentic Goan dishes. Goan cuisine is a subtle fusion of the local Konkani cuisine that got influenced by Portuguese cuisine following the 450 years of Portuguese rule. The cuisine is largely based on seafood, coconut, vegetables, meat, pork and the abundance of local spices available. Learn to cook some of the traditional dishes of the Goans and enjoy them over a meal with your hosts.

Itinerary
Goa
You will be picked up from your hotel and driven to the venue of your cooking class. Enjoy a welcome drink and some refreshments when you arrive. After that pick up the shopping bag and go to a local market with your instructor to bring back some fresh ingredients for the meal of the day. Back in the kitchen learn to cook some family recipes you won't find in restaurants. You will learn to cook 3-4 traditional Goan dishes. Your adventure continues with a meal (beverage excluded) that you helped prepare with the cooking instructor. Your meal may start with mixed vegetable curry, chicken items, and Indian bread. End your meal with some delicious Goan dessert. After the meal you will be dropped back at your hotel.
