Head out from Alice Springs before the break of dawn to a desert launch site where you'll hop on a hot air balloon flight to watch the sunrise over the vast remoteness of the Australian Outback. Starting from the south of Alice Springs, float over the historic Owen Springs station adjacent to the MacDonnell Ranges. Spot wildlife, particularly big red kangaroos as the balloon cruises over spinifex grasses, mulga scrub and cattle stations.
