This is one of the deepest canyons in the world and the sight of the 3900m mountain wall are breathtaking, as they drop from the snow-capped tops of Haba Shan to the cool gushing waters of Shinsha River, The Tiger Leaping Gorge is considered to be one of the most spectacular natural wonders in all of China. You will start the hike at Qiaotou, where you will leave your large backpacks behind and take only the most essentials. After a slow and steady climb, you reach the 28 bends (the most challenging part of the trek), a steep and twisting path gaining some altitude and offering breath-taking views.
