Private breakfast (your group only, max of 6) to discover and learn about Williamsburg before and after the restoration of Colonial Williamsburg in the late 1920s and early 1930s. Learn about the men and women (e.g., Reverend W.A.R. Goodwin, philanthropists John Rockefeller, Jr. and, his wife, Abby Rockefeller and others) who recreated the birthplace of America, the Colonial Capital of the original 13 Colonies and understand why Virginia was the first to declare it’s independence from Great Britain. Breakfast is at the iconic Williamsburg Inn where former Queen Elizabeth II, current King Charles III, US presidents and others have dined. Tour some of the grounds including a look at the Golden Horseshoe Golf courses, admire the decorations, furniture, chandeliers, etc. If desired, guide will provide a map and walk you to the most historic street noted by President Franklin Roosevelt - the Duke of Gloucester Street. Due to cost of the book and fees, there is a minimum of 2 people. This is an easy accessible tour that is perfect when there is bad weather or handicapped guests.
