Highlights
Step into a real-life fairy tale with a full-day tour from Munich to the enchanting Neuschwanstein Castle, nestled in the heart of the Bavarian Alps. Known for its dreamy Romanesque Revival architecture and mist-shrouded towers, this 19th-century masterpiece was built by the eccentric King Ludwig II, a monarch inspired by Norse mythology and the operatic world of Richard Wagner.
On this scenic adventure, you'll enjoy a two-hour coach ride through picturesque landscapes to the charming town of Füssen, gateway to the royal district of Bavaria. Once at the castle, hear fascinating tales of Ludwig’s extravagant life and the legends that earned him the nickname “Mad King.” Visit Marienbrücke (Mary’s Bridge) for breathtaking, postcard-perfect views of Neuschwanstein’s iconic silhouette—famously the model for Disney’s Sleeping Beauty Castle and featured in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.
While entry to the castle is not included, tickets can be easily purchased on the morning of the tour (cash or card accepted), and you'll benefit from skip-the-line access. Perfect for history buffs, architecture lovers, and dreamers alike, this tour offers a magical journey through one of the world’s most iconic landmarks.
