Formula 1 Heineken Chinese Grand Prix 2026
Formula 1 Heineken Chinese Grand Prix 2026
Highlights
Lights out and away we go!
Witness the world's best drivers fight it out for the chequered flag at the Shanghai International Circuit this March 13–15, 2026.
With adrenaline flying past this iconic track, the Formula 1 Chinese Grand Prix starts the engine for the first sprint race weekend in the 2026 season. This means you get the special speed appetiser before the zooming main course!
Chase the thrill of Sprint Qualifying on Friday, watch the intense 19-lap Sprint race on Saturday, and get to the peak of racing at the 56-lap Grand Prix on Sunday. And with the new Cadillac F1 team joining the mix, this year's grid will be much tighter than a Turn 1 apex.
Beyond Racing: A Blend of History, Culture, and Speed
The Shanghai International Circuit is more than just a track. Its design resembles the Chinese character 'shang' (上), which means "above" or "upward" – talk about a literal 'top-tier' venue!
Completed in 2004, it is also known as the site of Michael Schumacher's final F1 victory in 2006 and where Lewis Hamilton recorded the most wins, with six trophies.
The racing venue features a 30,000-seat main grandstand, offering a sweet spot to witness the action unfold right from the pit lane and team garages. Fuel your weekend with world-class facilities, dining, and unrivalled trackside views. They have advanced facial recognition technology, too, so handling every entry and security is a breeze. Just don't forget to bring your physical passport with you for real-name verification before entering.
But beyond the hairpins and flat-out straights perfect for this year's "Overtake Mode" replacing DRS, Shanghai is where you experience a city that is just as fast as the cars on the circuit. With Pudong District's hip bars, dining scene, souvenir shops, and neon-lit architecture, you'll definitely find a place to enjoy in Shanghai.
So don't wait – book that ticket to the F1 Chinese Grand Prix 2026 and get that experience of a lifetime!
Choose your race weekend vibe
Only got 24 hours with you? That's easy. Just get the 1-Day Pass to Grandstand B. You get an overlooking view above the sweeping corner into Turn 6 – a front-row ticket to the legendary overtaking drama. What's not to love?
Feel like this is not enough? Then the new 3-Day T16 Club Hospitality Pass might be what you're looking for. Three straight days of wheel-to-wheel racing action. Right there at Turn 16, with trackside access. This full-throttle package isn't just any package. Premium perks? Check! Curated experiences? Double check!
Imagine yourself relaxing at an exclusive lounge. An open bar where drinks flow all day long. A paddock tour and grid walk access, where you'll be rubbing shoulders with the F1 elite. You know that trophy they raise on the podium? You can also snap a photo with that championship trophy as a take-home souvenir!
But wait! If you snag any package from Pelago, you'll score a free ticket to the China Maritime Museum with no extra cost. Now, that's what we call irresistible, right?

Bought my F1 tickets on Pelago and the experience was great. The booking process was simple and fast, and the tickets were confirmed quickly. Very convenient platform to use.
Great experience. Easy redemption of tickets
A disappointing experience compared with last year. Booking through Pelago is ok, not an issue. However the allocated seat assigned to me was a blocked view where I only have 60% view of the track in Turn 1. Personally feel the event is disorganized. People (esp the locals) were jumping queue everywhere. Otherwise the F1 atmosphere is still great.
