Great for most ages, but not recommended for children under 12 years old. *Swimming is an expected skill for this experience* Mission Bay is a great spot for snorkelers of all skill levels! We will be snorkeling in a calm, flat body of water that feeds into the Pacific Ocean. Being in the bay, we typically encounter lots of invertebrates - including sea slugs, octopus, urchins - in addition to a variety of fish and interesting algae! After a brief safety and snorkel etiquette talk, we will explore the area for one hour (60 minutes). I will point out and provide detailed information on the flora and fauna we encounter during the experience! *Wetsuits are NOT provided and must be rented separately* Any living animals found will be left on their own; we do not interfere, touch, or handle any living marine life, following Viator's Animal Welfare Policy.
