Manukan Island is the second largest island in the Tunku Abdul Rahman National
Park. Manukan Island has some good stretches of beaches on the southern
coastline. The best beach is on the eastern tip of the island. Offshore of
Manukan are coral reefs, which is ideal for snorkelling, diving and swimming.
Out of the five islands making up Tunku Abdul Rahman National Park, Manukan
Island features the most developed tourist facilities that includes 20 units
of chalets, a clubhouse, and few restaurants and a diving centre. Recreation
facilities include a swimming pool, football field, Volleyball and Sepak
Takraw courts. Infrastructural facilities include support-water, electricity,
desalination plant, sewerage system, and even a solar public telephone. It is
covered in dense vegetation and has hiking trails.
Sapi Island is one of the most popular places in Sabah to swim, snorkel and
relax and it is just 20 minutes boat ride away from Kota Kinabalu. The moment
one arrives at the jetty, crystal clear water of the sea with school of fish
numbering in thousand can be seen swimming around the jetty. Among them are
Napoleon fish and Parrot fish.
After passing through the park entrance, most visitors will head off to the
short white sandy beach which stretches from the jetty to the western rocky
cliff. Wooden tables and seats are provided put there are not many, some
visitors might have to use floor mate to settle down their belongings.

Above watersports can be arrange directly at Manukan Island, no prebook is
required and will be at your own expenses , payment will be done at the island
as well. Watersport prices will be subject to the island.
