Highlights

Seasonal scents that stir the senses: Be soothed by the sweet fragrance of wisteria, the scent of the sea, and the rich aroma of new sake.

Kawachi Wisteria Garden

A Purple Tunnel That Captivates the World
This world-class scenic spot was once selected by CNN as one of “Japan's 31 Most Beautiful Places.”
Wisteria Tunnels: Two tunnels, approximately 80m and 220m long, offer breathtaking views as colorful wisteria completely covers the sky above.
Grand Wisteria Trellis: The trellis spreading across the vast grounds creates a fantastical space enveloped in sweet fragrance.
Its charm lies in its untouched beauty, carefully preserved over time.

Sushi Yatai

Spectacular View Counter
Located right at the water's edge, this sushi restaurant lets you savor fresh fish while gazing out at the sea spread before you—a feast for all five senses.
Savoring the Seasonal Bounty of the Genkai Sea: Right beside the Okagaki and Hatsu coastlines, our chefs prepare sushi using the freshest, locally caught fish, still vibrant from the day's catch.

Munakata Taisha Hetsugu Shrine

The gateway to the island where the gods dwell, visiting a World Heritage site
One of Japan's oldest shrines, also registered as a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site
Takamiya Sacred Grounds: Located deep within the shrine grounds, this highly mystical power spot preserves the ancient ritual form practiced before the shrine buildings were constructed.

Sake Brewery Izu Main Honten

300 years of tradition, brewing Munakata's heritage
Experience a moment at this historic sake brewery, operating since the mid-Edo period.
Premium Sake “Kamenoo”: Characterized by meticulous brewing, including sake made with the rare “Kamenoo” rice cultivated on-site.
Charming Building: Enjoy tasting experiences and shopping while feeling the history within the dignified, atmospheric building.
Seasonal Delights: From winter to spring, the aroma of new sake fills the air, offering the chance to encounter the fresh flavors unique to a sake brewery.
