You can also do sailing in the lake (mostly paddle boats). Orwellian over the cambering footbridge and crossover to the other side (western bank) of the lake, pivot left and take the pavement through the dhupi woodlot and enjoy the nature. Nearby is a temple in the forest (known as Devi Sthan). Pony rides are also feasible around the lake and quite popular with children & adults.
