E-MTB (also known as an e-bike) is a mountain bike with electric pedal assist, so even on steep uphill climbs, you'll power through with about half the effort — giving you incredible mobility! It's highly recommended for women and children without much physical strength. Forest roads, pastures, and other areas become accessible for MTB riding, expanding your range of exploration. Before setting off, you'll receive a briefing on riding tips and practice the basics. Anyone who can ride a regular bicycle will be just fine. Let's set off on an exhilarating ride with the now-popular electric-assist E-MTB! Candidate courses: Scenic pastureland, Shakotan Town Forest, JT Forest, ski resort, forest roads (Fumi, Uendo, Shakotan Wilderness), walking trails (Hama-Fumi), Shakotan Gin's botanical farm, Shakotan Gin Distillery, and cape-hopping around Yobetsu (Shakotan Cape, Bui Cape, Warishiri Cape, Kamui Cape) — the best route is decided based on weather and group members on the day. After enjoying the E-MTB ride, if time allows, we'll also introduce you to a local hot spring or local food spots (at guide-recommended restaurants).
