Board the historic Puffing Billy steam train from Belgrave to Lakeside,
listening to the whistle as you travel through the pristine mountain railway.
Head to Phillip Island, the habitat of the unique Australian little penguin.
Arrive at the Penguin Parade before sunset to witness the extraordinary sight
of penguins returning to their burrows from the viewing platforms located just
steps away from the penguins.

Depart from the city to Dandenong Ranges (delayed by about 2 hours during daylight saving time)12:45
The first stop of the itinerary is Puffing Billy Steam Train.14:00
Travel to Maru Wildlife Park to see uniquely Australian animals such as kangaroos, koalas, and emus (approximately 40 minutes).15:30
Then head to the Nobbies Centre, where you’ll have the chance to see the seal habitat (approximately 30 minutes).17:10
The final stop of the itinerary is watching the penguins return to their burrows (approximately 45 minutes).21:30
Return to Melbourne city center (approx. 23:30 during daylight saving time)
