- Elysian Gangchon Ski Resort
Elysian Gangchon Ski Resort is a famous ski resort located in Chuncheon,
Gangwon-do, South Korea. It is an outstanding venue with a beautiful natural
environment and rich snow scenery. Its greatest feature is providing an
environment most suitable for beginners. Not only are there dedicated counters
for convenient equipment rental, but the resort also features lift anti-fall
systems, safety fences, and crash pads. Rescue personnel are stationed in all
major areas to ensure the safety of skiers, allowing beginners to ski with
peace of mind. The entire resort has 10 ski slopes, 8 of which are beginner-
to-intermediate, with lower difficulty levels compared to other resorts.
Elysian Gangchon Ski Resort provides various slopes and facilities for skiers
of all levels. From beginners to experts, everyone can enjoy routes that suit
them. In addition, there are beginner practice slopes and ski school slopes,
making it easy and safe for beginners to learn to ski. Intermediate skiers can
also take the B-lift to the rest area at the summit. The resort has improved
upon the shortcomings of other resorts' fee structures by introducing a more
flexible system, making the ski resort even more convenient to use.

- This tour is exclusively for foreign tourists; Korean nationals are not eligible to participate (including those accompanying).
- You will be sharing the vehicle with groups on day tours or shuttle-only services.
- A minimum of 2 people is required to book this tour; individual bookings are not accepted. We apologize for any inconvenience.
- The departure and end dates for this product are subject to the ski resort's operating schedule.
- The itinerary schedule is for reference only and is subject to the guide's arrangements based on the actual conditions on the day.
- Ski instruction and skiing activities are only provided on the first day. The second day is free time. If you require skiing on the second day, please purchase it in advance on the page.
- The minimum group size is 4 people. If the minimum number of participants is not met, the tour will be canceled, and you will be notified via messaging app 1 day before the departure date.
- Children under 3 years old (under 36 months) can join for free, but they will not occupy a seat and admission tickets to attractions are not included. Please note the number of children in the booking remarks.
- Children aged 3 and over (36 months and older) must occupy a seat, and the cost is the same as for adults. If a child or adult cannot participate in skiing activities because the ski equipment does not fit, no compensation or refund can be claimed. (Please pay attention to the participant's size when booking).
- If the itinerary is changed or canceled due to traffic, weather, or other force majeure factors, please contact customer service, and we will assist you with the subsequent procedures.
- To facilitate communication, please be sure to provide your contact information (mobile number / Line / Whatsapp / Wechat / Kakaotalk, etc.).
- All ski tour bookings include basic ski instruction. If you choose not to participate in the instruction, it will be considered as forfeiting the lesson, and no compensation or refund can be claimed.
- This tour does not include breakfast on the second day. If you wish to order breakfast, please purchase it at the hotel front desk.
- During the peak ski season, if the hotel is fully booked or there are insufficient rooms, the supplier reserves the right to change or adjust the hotel. They will find an alternative hotel of the same standard and provide a shuttle bus to the ski resort the next day. (No refunds can be claimed for this).
- The maximum occupancy for rooms on this tour is 2-4 people per room. If the number of people booked exceeds 4, a second room will be arranged.
- Room types are assigned by the hotel, and specific room types cannot be requested.
- Ski and Snowboard groups will depart on the same vehicle.
- Participants under 12 years old for Snowboarding must be accompanied by an adult to participate in this activity.
- The resort rooms do not provide personal toiletries; please bring your own toothpaste, toothbrush, cotton swabs, and comb. The rooms are equipped with a hairdryer, small towels, soap, body wash, and shampoo. Please bring any other necessary items yourself.
- The resort rooms are a combination of bed and Ondol (floor heating) style. There will be one large bed or two small beds. When more than 2 people stay in a room, the additional guests will need to lay out floor bedding. The bedding sets are in the closet for you to use.

Outdoor and skiing activities involve certain risks and potential dangers. When considering participating in any activities included in or provided during the tour, guests must assess their own health and abilities to determine if they are suitable for participation. In the event of an accident due to force majeure or unpredictable factors resulting in physical injury or death, the supplier's staff and related personnel only assume the obligation of rescue; the supplier and other members assume no responsibility for the injured or deceased.
Skiing is a high-risk activity that may cause injury to third parties (including other users and staff at the resort). Please ensure that your travel insurance covers third-party liability.
It is recommended that you purchase accident and/or travel insurance at your departure point before participating in this activity.
Participants who are late or fail to arrive at the designated meeting point on time will not be refunded.
The order of the itinerary may change depending on local weather and traffic conditions.
Vehicle arrangements are based on the final group size. If you need to bring luggage, please contact customer service in advance after booking.
Travelers in the SKI/SNOW HILL group, as well as those on 1-day or 2-day tours, will depart on the same vehicle.
Children's ski equipment: minimum size is 20cm (based on foot length); adult maximum size is 30cm (based on foot length).
One group ski instructor teaches a maximum of 15-17 students. If you need a private instructor, please purchase the private instructor package.
You must wear ski equipment to enter the ski resort. Infants or non-skiers without equipment cannot enter the ski resort.
If you wish to switch to a Snowboard, please contact customer service after booking. The basic ski lesson only includes Ski. If you switch to Snowboard, there will be no basic lesson (partial refunds are not available). It is recommended for non-beginners to switch.
Personal toiletries are not provided in the resort rooms; please bring your own toothpaste, toothbrush, cotton swabs, and comb. The room provides a hairdryer, small towels, soap, body wash, and shampoo. Please bring any other necessary items yourself.
