The staff that was assigned to my group really made the cooking session simple and enjoyable. She speaks English fluently and always tries to engage the participants. We were broken down into smaller groups. The session started out with a theory explaining all the ingredients that we will be using. We cooked 4 different Thai cuisines and 1 dessert. After preparing 1 dish, we will eat right away at the dining table and then proceed to cook the next dish. Whole session lasted for around 3-hours. Overall, I really enjoyed this activity and would recommend to my family / friends.
Amazing time with Khun Ju, our instructor. Group was small, limited to 10. They had 6 groups that morning! Learnt a lot about Thai cuisine and was provided with a cookbook after. Highly recommended!
It was fantastic experience and we are so happy that we took this course during the trip.
It was awesome, such a fun and yummy evening. Our instructor Yai and her teammates gave all of us an unforgettable time learning Thai ingredients, cooking Thai cuisine, and enjoying the work of our own hands. Will definitely recommend this to anybody who likes Thai food! It’s not difficult while clear instructions are provided for u to cook the same back home.
We recently attended Silom Thai Cooking School, which was a fantastic experience. We took a tuk-tuk ride to a nearby location along with 8 other participants, while the rest stayed at the original site. The program started with an introduction to the essential herbs and ingredients, led by an extremely friendly and passionate teacher. We cooked five traditional Thai dishes, and the classroom was organised into three sections: preparation, cooking, and eating. The prep and dining areas were air-conditioned, making the experience comfortable. The smooth flow between activities (cook, eat, repeat) made learning and cooking enjoyable. Overall, this class offered excellent value for money. The combination of an engaging program, knowledgeable instructor, and comfortable facilities made it a delightful culinary adventure. We highly recommend it to anyone interested in learning more about Thai cuisine.
I enjoyed this session very much. Chef Plane is so humourous, cute and pretty! She articulated very well and made the whole session very informative and enjoyable.
