5.30am pickup and well worth it! Cool morning in the month of May, small group of 12 and feeling exclusive at arrival as there are not many early birds. Lyn was our guide and she was fabulous. She speaks good English, was lively in sharing historical insights and attentive to our needs and questions. Along the way, she also taught us the correct pronunciation on a few phrases and provided tips and tricks on local culture. Definitely a good itinerary that matches with a great guide. Lyn, thank you for the wonderful start to a sunny day.
My experience with this tour was good, everything went smoothly from pickup to the guided tour around the sanctuary, to the meal after the tour. The tour guide was knowledgeable, learnt quite a bit of interesting nuggets from him! Going early in the morning also meant that there were less crowds, and not as hot. Would strongly recommend this tour!
It's an early start at 5.30am, but recommend to visit earlier in the morning for thinner crowds. It's a minivan, so the maximum group size is 13, which is perfect. Pickup was punctual, guide spoke excellent English and was knowledgeable. You get a bowl of noodles for breakfast, which was delicious. The tour ends about 10.30am. Highly recommend.
We enjoyed the walking tour a lot led by Lyn. She is humorous and cracked jokes as she shared the history of My Son with us. The stories that she shared are very interesting and I learnt a lot during this trip. She is also attentive to all our needs when it comes to meal ordering. Without her, the tour experiences at My Son would not have been so enlightening and rewarding. Thank you Lyn. Really appreciate all the little stories you shared.
The guide Van was the best. Extremely knowledgeable and aware of the rich history.
Well but museum should be included or at least given time to visit .
Waking up very early was tiring, but it was worth it. Han, our tour guide, was energetic, friendly, and humorous throughout the journey. I highly recommend joining this early morning My Son Sanctuary tour.
