Roberto Burle Marx Municipal Park, better known as "City Park", located in São José dos Campos - SP, occupies an area of ​​about one million square meters that was part of the former Parahyba Weaving Farm. In this vast perimeter are sheltered a great diversity of vegetal species and a beautiful landscape composed by gardens, imperial palms, lakes, artificial islands, woods and malls. The gardens, by Roberto Burle Marx, and the Residence Olivo Gomes, designed by Rino Levi, make up an important work of modern architecture. Mother Church was the first chapel of São José dos Campos, built at the time that Indians still existed in the city, around 1643.
