The original tarts were large, but later reduced the size to individual portions by their daughter, Albina, and granddaughter, also named Teresa. In 1975, the pastry shop was sold to Augusto Pinto, whose son, José Augusto Pinto, is the current owner and continues to maintain the traditional recipe, along with the pastry shop that has become a reference point for Torta de Azeitão.Lisbon
