- The Penguin Discovery Experience is an all-weather attraction. Please come prepared with appropriate protection for sun, wind, and cold conditions.
- Due to the sensitivity of little penguins to light, photography or filming is strictly prohibited after sunset. A staff member will announce when the restriction takes effect. Please limit photo-taking during the walk to the beach before sunset. To protect the penguins and ensure their return, we kindly ask you to refrain from using cameras, camcorders, or phones after sunset at the Penguin Parade.
- For your safety, we encourage everyone to download the Surf Life Saving Beachsafe app and access important safety information available on the Life Saving Victoria website and at the Visitor Information Centres.
- This is a cashless venue. Only contactless transactions are accepted at all ticketing, retail, and food and beverage outlets.

Your entry to the Penguin Parade is valid only on the selected travel date, while other attractions can be visited within six months from the booking date.

Loved the Phillip Island 3 Park Pass from Pelago! The Penguin Parade was the absolute highlight. I upgraded to the Discovery Experience, which gave access to the Plus viewing area - definitely worth it! The closer vantage point made a huge difference in our penguin-watching experience. While the general viewing is ok, I highly recommend upgrading for an unforgettable encounter. The pass offers great value, covering multiple attractions on the island. A must-do for wildlife enthusiasts and families with kids!
Tickets were redeemable at the visitor centers. No issues, everything went smoothly.
Loved this activity!!! Followed our reviewers advice to go in early so that we could get to pick the seats we want since it’ll be free seating. Choose seats near to the aisles as the penguins will walk past the aisles. They were really strict with no phones and cameras so as to not scare the penguins with the lighting. Penguins were really adorable. Do bring blankets as the temperature does drop quite a fair bit. We also brought our binoculars so that we could see them out in the sea. Walk up the broad walk and you’ll see some penguins walking back home as well. So you need really need to sit through until all penguins are back from the sea so that you get to see some penguins up close from the broad walk. Penguin shop has loads of interesting goods though not priced cheaply. Food is also available for sale post penguin walk.
They announced there was spots on the beach to sit. When we got down there it was packed so we had to walk back up to our seats. Both my kids got pooed on by seagulls swooping around. I’d suggest having NO FOOD past the visit centre. The souvenir coin machines were both broken.
Good, would have expected better discount rates and more attractions.
There were quibbles were my purchase of this 4-park pass. First, purchase was not immediate. I had to wait a day or so for confirmation. So if you are planning to use it immediately or shortly after purchase, better if you search for 4-park pass and purchase directly from the Phillip Island website as the pricing is the same. Second, there are no instructions on how to redeem this 4-park pass. Thankfully when I arrived at the first attraction, they were very helpful and could generate all tickets to each of the 4 parks after some searching using our confirmation number QR code.
