Shark Cave Diving Tangked and Biaha 2 dives for certified divers
Shark Cave Diving Tangked and Biaha 2 dives for certified divers
Shark Cave Diving Tangked and Biaha 2 dives for certified divers
For KrisFlyer members only
Highlights
Tangked and Gili Biaha offer one of Bali's most unique shark diving experiences. The highlight of the trip is observing Whitetip Reef Sharks resting inside natural underwater caves, a behavior rarely seen at most dive destinations.
These dive sites combine shark encounters, underwater caverns, steep walls, healthy coral reefs, and seasonal Mola Mola sightings in a single adventure. Their remote location and lower diver traffic often create a more exclusive diving experience compared to Bali's more frequently visited dive sites.
Recommended Experience
• Recommended for divers with approximately 50 or more logged dives
• Divers should be comfortable with negative entries and descents to approximately 25 meters
• Experience with drift diving and open ocean conditions is recommended
• Good buoyancy control and situational awareness are required
• As no check dives are conducted at these locations, we recommend booking this trip on your second or third diving day in Bali

Explore Bali's famous Shark Caves on a full-day scuba diving trip designed for experienced certified divers. Located off Bali's east coast, Tangked and Gili Biaha are known for dramatic underwater landscapes, strong currents, underwater walls, pinnacles, and the famous Shark Caves where Whitetip Reef Sharks are regularly observed resting inside natural caverns. The trip includes two guided dives accessed by a traditional Indonesian Jukung boat from Padang Bai. Divers may encounter Whitetip Reef Sharks, Marble Rays, Green Turtles, schools of reef fish, nudibranchs, shrimps, and many other marine species. During the Mola Mola season from July to October, sightings of the Ocean Sunfish are also possible. Due to strong and sometimes unpredictable currents, this experience is recommended for experienced divers who are comfortable with drift diving and open ocean conditions. Hotel pickup from South Bali is provided between 6:30 AM and 7:15 AM. After the dives, lunch and refreshments are served before returning at approximately 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
