Located just two hours north of Sydney and forty-five minutes from Newcastle, the Hunter Valley - Australia’s premier vineyard region - offers the perfect backdrop for the flight of a lifetime. Begin your balloon flight at sunrise and take in views of the picturesque wine regions of Pokolbin, Lovedale, Rothbury, and Broke. Balloon flights last approximately one hour, followed by a delicious gourmet breakfast and champagne celebration at the famous Peterson House winery and Restaurant. Your entire experience, including breakfast after the flight, should take approximately 3.5 – 4.5 hours.
Help with the setup of the balloon as your aircraft takes shape and comes to life
Ascend into the sky in your colourful balloon, drifting gently along the morning breeze
Deflate the balloon by squishing the air out, or feel free to stand back and take photos
Enjoy a delicious a la carte breakfast with your fellow passengers and your pilot
Itinerary
Meet Up (4:30AM - 5:45AM)
Meet up at Peterson Champagne House, 2457 Broke Rd, Pokolbin NSW 2320. Passengers will be notified of the exact meeting time the evening before their flight, which can be anywhere between 4:30AM - 5:45AMPrepare for launch
Your balloon will be inflated at the Launch Site.Lift Off
Your balloon launches and you will drift across the sky for approximately 1 hour.Pack Up
Following the landing, you can participate in the balloon pack up experience and, if the conditions are right, even walk inside the deflating balloon.Celebration Breakfast and End of Tour
Finally it’s time to enjoy the Celebration Breakfast with your fellow balloonists at a local Restaurant.

For the included breakfast, passengers are to order upon arrival in the morning. special dietary requirements can be catered to with advanced notice. Please add indicate in the 'Additional Information' field when booking.
Passengers must acknowledge and agree to the below (1) and (2) 'Fit To Fly' terms before being permitted to fly
(1) This activity is not suitable for people with significant knee, hip or back problems, pregnant ladies, people with disabilities that prevent them from standing for long periods of time and those recovering from operations.
(2) For safety reasons, Adults of weight more than 140kg are not suited for this activity.
Children must be minimum 7 years old and at least 120cm tall to fly.
