－What You Can Expect－
The JR Kansai-San'in Area Pass is a 7-day ticket that allows unlimited travel
on applicable trains in the Kansai and San'in regions. Within the valid
period, passengers can use both reserved and non-reserved seats on applicable
trains without any restrictions. Eligible trains include the Sanyo Shinkansen
(Shin-Osaka⇔Okayama), Limited Express trains, and Local trains (including
Rapid and Special Rapid trains). Please note that this pass does not cover
travel on the Tokaido Shinkansen (Shin-Osaka⇔Tokyo), and West Japan JR high-
speed buses.

Ticket vending machines (Self-service): Operate and collect tickets through the green ticket vending machines marked with "passport" icons at each station

boothJR West Ticket Office (Manual): Present your e-voucher and passport to the JR Ticket Office (Midori-no-madoguchi, also known as the Green Window) to exchange for a physical ticket
• There will be no name and passport verification if you choose to collect
from the ticket vending machine; however, if you exchange at the counter, the
staff will check the name on the voucher and the passport
• Ticket machines are only available for travelers with an e-passport. If you
do not have an e-passport or the passport does not work at the ticket machine,
please visit the ticket office for a manual exchange

- JR tickets operate under a registration system, with a very complicated booking process. Therefore, please make sure to provide the correct required info when booking, failure to do so may result in ticket issue delay, travelers will be held liable and surcharges will apply to booking changes
- JR PASS eMCO E-Ticket Pick-Up: in addition to the standard JR green ticket counters, JR green ticket machines marked with "5489" in west Japan are also available for ticket pick-up, please visit the official website for details
- Ticket exchange service at the ticket machine is only available for travelers with an e-passport. Travelers without an e-passport need to approach the ticket counter for ticket exchange
- Some of the trains only have reserved seats and unreserved seats are not provided, please see the official website for reference
- Please note that the 7th time (and beyond) using reserved seats requires a manual reservation ticket from the green window
