The Anawilundawa Bird Sanctuary is situated in the Puttalam district in the North Western province of the country; between Chilaw and Puttlam – to be more specific - it is situated between the coast and the Chilaw-Puttlam railway line.

You will be able to start the tour at 6:30 am Your English-speaking birding guide will meet you in Anawilundawa. You will proceed to Anawilundawa Sanctuary and morning birding at wetland and forest for looking for water birds, waders and forest birds and other wildlife (i.e. reptiles, butterflies, dragonflies, etc). Afternoon visit Nawadamkulam bird Sanctuary for looking for water birds, waders and forest birds and other wildlife (i.e. reptiles, butterflies, dragonflies, etc).
