Afterward, we will head to a unique and exclusive course that you won't easily find in other tours: the historic Hokkaido Shrine and Maruyama Park. Enjoy a peaceful stroll, and if you visit during the spring, prepare to be breathtakingly surrounded by spectacular cherry blossoms. After capturing sweet memories at the fairytale-like Shiroi Koibito Park, we will make our way to the classic and charming city of Otaru in the afternoon.
Upon arriving in Otaru, you will be given a generous three hours of free time to explore the city entirely at your own pace. Not sure where to start? Your friendly guide will provide the best tips and recommendations for must-visit spots, including the scenic Otaru Canal, the bustling Sakaimachi Street, and the famous Otaru Sushi Street. To make your Otaru experience even more special, those who wish can join the guide for a quick stroll to the Former Temiya Railway Line right as your free time begins. This famous, vintage photo spot is located slightly away from the main streets, so going with the guide ensures you easily get the perfect shot during a dedicated photo session. After soaking in all the romance Otaru has to offer, you will safely and comfortably return to Sapporo in the evening, concluding a picture-perfect day.
