Company Askos Tours were very helpful when we were slightly late. Ella was our guide and is truly very knowledgeable with all sorts of interesting facts. Her experience as a real Archeologist that worked on part of the Pompeii excavation really showed. We managed to see the “new digs”, which had newly discovered horse skeletons (still being excavated by hand) and pottery. What an experience!
Our tour guide Hilary is really good! She explains well, very joyful and passionate. I find it amazing when she shared her past experience as an archaeologist here!
We enjoyed the tour more history tidbits would have been nice about the architecture and we only saw just the one mummy.
