Nami Island, just an hour's drive from Seoul, offers a peaceful escape from the city's hustle and bustle, welcoming you into the tranquility of nature. Famous for its iconic tree-lined avenues, it has also served as the backdrop for popular Korean dramas like "Winter Sonata," "Hi Bye, Mama!," and "When My Love Blooms." This convenient two-way shuttle bus service departing from the city centre allows you to explore Nami Island at your own leisure.
it was a really smoorh process, from finding the assembly point to the ride over and back from nami island, highly recommended!
Operator was KTourstory. If you are only booking shuttle bus, there will not be any email reminder from the operator a day before the event. Pay attention to where your meeting point is and how to get there. Be on time or you would miss your bus. I had to WhatsApp KTourstory a few times during the day. They were very responsive and efficient. Good agent. Nami Island was really looking like in the picture in the fall. Beautiful. But do not go there on weekends. I visited on a Saturday. The lines to the ticket booth and to the ferry boarding pier were very, very long. The island was super-crowded with locals and tourists. It did not do the island justice as a tranquil hideaway for nice peaceful walks in a beautiful setting. I love Nami Island. Will come back… during weekdays. The traffic during the weekend was horrendous. It took us 3 hours to get from Seoul to the ferry station. The poor driver had a frustrating time in the slow-moving traffic. I would definitely recommend the shuttle bus to Nami Island. It was convenient and allowed me to sleep right through the ride both ways.
Pelago charged cheaper as compared to Klook We reached the pick up point eaely and no one was there. Few youngsters came with a blue flag 10mins before the bus arrival, we can’t tell if they are organizer. When we approached them, they are all friendly and provided clear instructions like where to wait and where bus leave. Bus departs on time, journey is about 1.30hrs on Saturday.
Cheaper than other platform and quite easy to take the shuttle. Do take note the bus will not wait for latecomers, especially returning from Nami Island.
Driver is good and very on time. However the duration to stay in Jeju island is too long.
The pick up point at Myeongdong was very easy to locate. The bus arrived on time and there was a staff going around to check if we signed up for the bus, checked our names and directed us to board the bus. The bus trip was not that great. The air conditioning of the bus was bad. There was only warm air coming out from the air conditioning for the first 15 to 20 minutes of the bus ride, it only got better for a while, and in the last 15 minutes, the air conditioning went off and the bus was warm again. It was the same experience on the return trip, except that the warm air was even warmer than in the morning. It was a very uncomfortable ride. Due to traffic, the return trip took more than 2 hours.
