Compliment for Yuri – Phillip Island Tour with Local Way Tours Pelago engaged Local way tours in Melbourne for this tour and it was a great experience for me! My recent tour to Phillip Island with Local Way Tours was an unforgettable experience, made even more special thanks to our amazing guide, Yuri. Our day started off perfectly with a complimentary cup of coffee from Protagonist Café, setting a warm and welcoming tone for the adventure ahead. The itinerary was well-paced, with each stop thoughtfully planned. Though Koala Conservation Reserve wasn’t included, the AUD 17 entry was worth it for great photo opportunities! I managed to get some fantastic shots of the koalas without disturbing them in their natural habitat! Yuri was an exceptional guide—knowledgeable, friendly, and approachable. His insights throughout the tour added so much value, and I feel truly blessed to have had him guide us. My mum and I thoroughly enjoyed every moment. The pizza lunch provided was delicious, and the wine tasting was a highlight—we sampled 7 different glasses as part of the tour, which was a fun and delightful experience. While our package included general admission to the Penguin Parade, we chose to upgrade to Penguin Plus for AUD 57 per person—and it was absolutely the right decision! The up-close view of the little penguins returning home at sunset is something I’ll never forget. Thank you, Yuri, for your warmth, professionalism, and for making this experience so memorable. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Melbourne!
Despite the rain we still had a great time on the tour. Perry the guide was very friendly, and knowledgable of the area. He gave us insights on the surrounding local areas and gave us plenty of time to wander off without feeling rushed to do next items. The wine tasting and the meal at the winery was just divine and watching the penguins return from the ocean was priceless! Not something you see everyday. Highly recommend this tour as it allows you to explore Phillip’s island without planning it on your own.
