【Ibusuki no Tamatebako Train】
The Ibusuki no Tamatebako is a special sightseeing train that travels along the coast in Kagoshima.
It runs along the scenic Ibusuki Makurazaki Line, connecting Kagoshima-Chuo Station to Ibusuki Station .
The journey takes approximately 50 minutes.
【Ibusuki Natural Hot Sand Bath】
The specialty of Ibusuki Onsen is the sand steamed hot spring. A hot spring method unique to Kagoshima Prefecture, a volcanic country, where you are buried in warm sand that uses volcanic heat to warm your body from the core, which promotes sweating throughout the body and brings about a detox effect.

Ibusuki bonito, which is indispensable of Japanese food and dashi culture, is now getting famous not only in Japan, but also in the world.
After the dried bonito manufacturing factory tour, you will experience how to make a chabushi by shaving the dried bonito yourself.
You can enjoy the taste of the original dried bonito!
【Locally Sourced Ingredients Steamed with "Sume"】
At “Eel Onsen Sumehiroba” in Ibusuki City, visitors can experience steaming local foods by themselves. You can experience steaming with high-temperature steam of about 90°C, called “Sumeh”.
This is a special cooking method using geothermal heat.
