The train ride was awesome!! We loved our trip. The ride back was smooth too. Thank you! Highly recommend.
When we booked for 9 am, it was unclear that you could still be given a two hour window. Our train time was 10:20. We arrived early and just went through the big line and got on the next train. Warning this is not a good activity for those who need help walking. People really push to get on train. You end on a massive slant and have to get off. It was very hot on the train. When we arrived, you are heading to stairs, but we decided to line up for elevator. So glad we did. It was much nicer as it was a very hot day. If you take elevator there is an escalator to next lever and a place to fill up your water bottle for free with ice cold water. I saw a gentleman who worked there personally helping those with mobility issues on the escalator. He was wonderful. At the top it's very very crowded. We took our photos and got out of there. It's a must as a tourist to Rio, but even with the ticket, we had to stand in line to exchange the ticket just like we would if we had arrived and bought it there.
