Once you have finished you’ll learn how to use truffle in the kitchen preparing a delicious 3-course lunch at an organic farm just a few km from Florence. Tuscany truffle hunt and cooking class take place in the Mugello Valley near Florence. This particular area of Tuscany is fortunate enough to produce a variety of truffles throughout the year. Thus there’s always a good chance of finding truffles in our selected areas. The protagonist of the truffle hunting is certainly the dog that patiently scours the woods sniffing for truffles. Suddenly the dog begins to scratch the ground thus attracting the attention of his master. The truffle hunter instead with his “small hoe” delicately enlarges the little hole just indented by the dog. He then gently extracts the truffle from the ground and rewards the dog.
