After crossing through the center of this province we will pass the towns of Paraíso, Cervantes, Juan Viñas and Turrialba, the rafting capital of Costa Rica. During this journey of approximately 2.5 hours we will have a typical breakfast before beginning the adventure of the class III and IV rapids.

Our team will be waiting for you at Finca La Cruz, where you will be given a riverside safety briefing before venturing out on the 6-mile Pacuare River on the first day of your trip.

  Lunch will be on the river bank or at the camp, buffet style before arriving at the camp where you can explore the treasures of the forest in a guided walk of approximately 1.5 hours through the area, filtering into the flora and fauna of the Pacuare.

  In the evening, enjoy a pre-dinner Happy Hour by candlelight. A couple of drinks and "mouths" should open your palate for the delicious menu and glasses of wine with which you will close the first day of your trip through the Pacuare.
