Must Know
- The SIM card activates automatically—no registration required.
- Usage is calculated daily; activating late at night (e.g. 11:59 PM) still counts as one full day.
- Speeds may reduce temporarily after heavy usage in a short period as per Japanese telecom regulations.
- Hongmeng system is not compatible.

Easy to find and redeem but the network connectivity at certain areas doesn’t seem to work and is generally slow (sometimes can’t even load google maps). Used it mainly in Osaka and Kyoto.
The redemption process was easy and clear, however my data speed was quite slow compared to my friend who used a local sim, and this affected my travel experience.
