Your excursion start with the drive through the famous Skoura-Valley, also named "Route of 1'000 Kasbahs". See the green date palms and the numerous old Kasbahs along the road.

First stop of the day is the pittoresque Kasbah Amridil, one of Morocco’s grandest kasbahs from the 17th-century which formally appeared on the 50-Dirham note. You will enjoy a guided visit and learn about traditional kasbah life over the centuries, see hand-carved door locks, an olive oil press, still-functioning bread ovens and stalls where animals were once kept. The kasbah has been split into two, the part on the right has retained a more authentic feel and has the higher terrace with a breathtaking view over the valley, the palm trees and until the snowcapped High Atlas Mountains.

Continue along the road until Kelaa M'Gouna, the center of the Rose Valley. Here, we'll make a stop for a coffee or tea, and you have the possibility to visit one of the local women's cooperations, where you can buy beauty products of Rose water.

Next stop is the Dades valley. We head to Boumalne Dades where you can make some nice pictures of the special rock formations which look like monkey hands.

After your lunch break in or around Tinghrir, we will follow the road along the river to reach the gorges of Todra, where you can take a short but spectacular hike between the up to 300 m high rock walls.
