You will be picked up from your hotel in the morning and driven to Hauz Khas village where you will meet your guide for the day. Start your walk at the 13th century Hauz Khas Fort. Today its well-preserved ruins stand in the middle of a public park that overlooks a lake. It is a popular spot with the locals. A mosque, tombs and pavilions are present on the grounds of the Fort complex. Walk through the narrow lanes lined with shops, boutiques and art galleries. Take some time out to visit each of these and get an idea of the contemporary lifestyle of Delhi. Stop for drinks and refreshments at a popular bar (own expense). Browse through the antiques on display at the Bollywood shop. Your guide will share with you stories associated with the present day inhabitants of the village. In short, spend a relaxed morning exploring this quaint little urban village. Enjoy lunch (beverage excluded) at a local restaurant. At the end of the tour you will be dropped back at your hotel.
