Around 12:30pm, your friendly private tour guide and driver will meet you in your hotel lobby. Drive to Guyaju Cave Dwelling directly around 1.5 hours. Visit Guyaju Caves in the west of Yanqing County. it is the largest site of an ancient cliff residence community in China. A multi-village complex of more than 170 dwellings carved directly into the rock face. Believed to have been carved by an ethnic minority called the Xiyi between the Tang and Liao Dynasties, the remarkable caves resemble 'ant farms for humans' and consist of rooms of varying shapes and styles complete with doors, windows, kitchen ranges, and closets.

Afterwards, Head over to Ice Lantern Festival at Longqing Gorge, featuring ice and snow sculptures and slides along the edge of the gorge. Enjoy the walking among the festively lit sculptures before returning to your Beijing hotel for drop-off.
