Beaujolais wine tour: 3 visits of wineries are planned during the day, two in the morning and one after lunch. 5 to 7 wines per winery.

The day begins around 9.00am at your hotel, and we'll be travelling to the Beaujolais region to meet two wineries in the morning, where we'll visit the vines, the cellars and taste the wines (including 20th-century wine).
Around 1 p.m., we'll arrive at a 13th-century château that will be privatised for the rest of the day.
You will learn about the history of the château in the company of the owner, and then immerse yourself in a unique tasting of 6 wines from the 1930s to the present day, to cover the spectrum of the Gamay grape variety through time. The wines will be accompanied by a dozen cheeses and seasonal gourmet products.
As a wine merchant, WSET3 graduate, I'll be joining you on the day to talk about French wine and its specific characteristics.
A private chauffeur will drive us throughout the day. Tesla or Mercedes Class E for couples and Mercedes Class V Van for party of 3 or more.
Wines can be bought and shipped to your home.

We make sure to choose a biodynamic, natural wine estate to start the day so that you can meet the current dynamics of Beaujolais, the new generation. The site is located in the heart of the 10 regional crus, including Fleurie, Morgon, Brouilly and Julienas . We'll spend around an hour with the winery, learning about its history and wines. For this second visit, we're opting for a winery that works the vines and vinification as it did in the 1970s and 1980s. This will give you an insight into the differences between the successive generations in the Beaujolais region. The site is located in the heart of the 10 regional crus, including Fleurie, Morgon, Brouilly and Julienas . We'll spend around an hour with the winery, learning about its history and wines. We'll be heading to the Château de Montmelas, built in the 13th century, for a private masterclass lunch that will take place throughout the afternoon. On arrival, the Château's owner will give you a short guided tour of the Château and provide you with information about historic Beaujolais. Depending on the weather, we'll spend the afternoon either in the gardens, which offer a royal view of the region, or in the historic salons by the open fires. This will be an opportunity to taste wines from the 1930s to the present day, and to discover a dozen cheeses and seasonal gourmet products. We want to offer you a unique, sensory experience, because we're convinced that emotions flow from a moment that stimulates all the senses.
