Highlights

Join us on a private tour of some of the best the Highlands have to offer from Gleneagles.

We will start off at what many consider to be the 'best castle in Scotland' - Stirling Castle. After visiting this stunning historical castle featuring over 1000 years of history, we will make our way to the Scottish Highlands.

We will stop over at Luss by Loch Lomond. From this heritage village considered by many as the 'most beautiful village in Scotland, you can admire stunning views of Loch Lomond. We will then continue up to Inveraray Castle - the 'emerald castle' on Loch Fyne.

From here we will cut across to Loch Awe, stopping at a viewpoint to admire views of the Kilchurn Castle ruins. Once an impenetrable fortress, you may recognise this scene as one of Scotland's most famous 'picture postcards'.

Finally, we will stop over at the iconic Falls of Dochart, where you will be able to explore the village, admire these iconic falls or visit the world-famous smokehouse.

Itinerary

  • Stirling Castle

1 hours 30 minsAdmission Ticket Not Included
With over 1000 years of history, Stirling Castle is one of Scotland's most important historical sites, and its past features some of Scotland's most iconic characters, such as William Wallace, Robert the Bruce, Mary Queen of Scots and Bonnie Prince Charlie. This incredible castle was once the favoured residence of the Stewart kings and queens. After extensive restortion, the castle offers a unique experience with characters in period costume, as bodyguards, court officials and servants, who will tell you information about some of the main rooms you will visit, bringing the 16th century alive! There are also regular free tours by the knowledgeable castle guides departing regularly from the gate.
  • Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park

    30 minsAdmission Ticket Free
A 60 minute drive will take us to the 'foot steps' of the Highlands and the beautiful village of Luss nestled on the banks of Loch Lomond, overlooking the Ben Lomond munro. Apart from stunning views of Luch Lomond, Luss is a place steeped in history, and here you can find an extremely rare Viking Hogback gravestone. There's a couple of gift shops, toilet facilities and places for refreshments.
