Join me for a hands-on street photography workshop through the streets of Shimbashi and Yurakucho — two of my favorite areas to photograph everyday life in Tokyo. Over two hours, we'll explore narrow alleyways, busy streets, elevated train tracks and pockets of local nightlife while working on the skills that make strong street photographs: composition, light, timing, movement, layering and anticipating moments before they happen. Rather than simply taking you to photogenic locations, I'll work with you throughout the session, offering practical guidance and individual feedback based on your experience level and photographic style. I've photographed Tokyo's streets extensively for years and now work professionally as a photographer. I'll share how I approach a scene, find interesting light and compositions, and turn ordinary moments into photographs with atmosphere and story. All skill levels are welcome. Whether you're relatively new to street photography or already experienced, the goal is to help you see Tokyo differently and leave with techniques you can continue using long after the workshop.
