Also known as “Amazing Cliff”, located atop Kulen Mountain it’s an easy-to-reach site offering impressive views across the canyon below in between the mountain ranges. At the summit of the hill you can see Buddhist pagoda and a large reclining Buddha statue 8 meters length carved into a sandstone bock in 16th century.

Also often referred to as the Reclining Buddha, Preah Ang Thom is an 8 meters (26 ft) tall statue of the reclining Buddha reaching nirvana. The statue is carved into a huge natural sandstone boulder to which a modern staircase has been added along with a shelter over the Buddha. It is a very sacred and special site for all Cambodians and there are always patrons visiting the site and at times becoming quite busy.

Along a stretch of the riverbed for around 500 m there are carvings of linga, several big and small yoni, and a large carving of Vishnu. Along the walls of the riverbed, a small carving is also seen in the bedrock.

Most people come to swim in the river which forms the Kulen Waterfall. There are two waterfalls here. The first is around 25m wide and 5m tall. The second is about 15m tall and 15m wide. The sizes of the waterfalls will change depending on the season. There will be much more water during the rainy season, but it’s still worth visiting in the dry season.

The killing caves of Phnom Sampeau are a Khmer Rouge execution site on Phnom Sampeau, a hill southwest of Battambang in western Cambodia. The Khmer Rouge killed their victims on top of the cave at the rim of a daylight shaft or ceiling hole and then threw the dead body into the cave. Men and women were placed in separate caves and clothes in another. There are a number of caves at Phnom Sampeau that have traditionally served as Buddhist temples. The Royal Palace is one of Phnom Penh’s most iconic landmarks. The construction began in 1886 after King Norodom relocated the royal capital to Phnom Penh and was completed before World War I. Wat Phnom : Set on top of a tree-covered knoll 27m high, Wat Phnom is the only hill in town. The main entrance to Wat Phnom is via the grand eastern staircase, which is guarded by lions and naga (snake) balustrades.

The Norodom Sihanouk Memorial is a monument commemorating former King Norodom Sihanouk located in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. The bronze statue is 4.5 meters tall and is housed under a 27 meter high stupa in the park east of the Independence Monument. Choeung Ek is the site of a former orchard and mass grave of victims of the Khmer Rouge killed between 1975 and 1979 about 17 kilometers south of Phnom Penh, Cambodia. It is the best-known of the sites known as The Killing Fields, where the Khmer Rouge regime executed over one million people between 1975 and 1979. Mass graves containing 8,895 bodies were discovered at Choeung Ek after the fall of the Khmer Rouge regime. Many of the dead were former political prisoners who were kept by the Khmer Rouge in their Tuol Sleng detention center and in other Cambodian detention centers.
