【Shimamui Coast】*2026/05/10-2026/10/15

Selected as one of the 100 most beautiful coasts in Japan. Here, you can see
the clear cobalt blue ocean known as 'Shakotan Blue.' After passing through a
small tunnel accessible only to pedestrians, you will be greeted by a
spectacular view of steep cliffs, massive rocks, and the Shakotan Blue sea!
*From 4/20 to 5/15, the itinerary will be changed to visit Hokkaido Jingu
instead of Shimamui Coast depending on the cherry blossom season.

【Hokkaido Jingu】*2026/04/25-2026/05/09

Located in Sapporo, 'Hokkaido Jingu' is one of the premier power spots in
Hokkaido and a representative local shrine. It attracts not only local
residents but also many tourists, with a constant stream of visitors
throughout the year. Within the vast grounds, you can enjoy a variety of
activities, such as strolling while admiring the seasonal scenery or relaxing
at the teahouse for some sweets.

【Shiroi Koibito Park】

As a household name for souvenirs in Hokkaido, Shiroi Koibito Park is one of
Sapporo's most popular attractions. From the history of chocolate to precious
art collections, you can also preview the production process of Shiroi Koibito
chocolates. Beyond experiencing snack making, touring the factory, and
learning about chocolate history, the charm of Shiroi Koibito Park extends
beyond its indoor exhibits. The outdoor area is also well worth exploring,
featuring a rose garden that blooms in early summer, colorful flowers, and
small shops selling 'Shiroi Koibito' soft-serve ice cream. *The Shiroi Koibito
Park ticket does not include factory tour admission.

【Otaru Canal】

Completed in 1923, the Otaru Canal is the only canal in Japan built by
reclaiming land rather than digging inland. Stretching 1,140 meters, it
supported Otaru as a port city during the development of Hokkaido. Otaru
flourished as a northern gateway from the Meiji to Taisho eras. Along the
canal, which symbolizes the prosperity of the port, there are many old
warehouses that evoke a nostalgic landscape of the past.

【Otaru】

After walking straight for about 10-15 minutes from Sakaimachi Street, you
will reach an area filled with nostalgic buildings from the Meiji, Taisho, and
early Showa periods, where you can soak in the retro atmosphere! This is the
'Wall Street of the North' area. When it comes to representative shops in this
district, 'Kitaichi Glass' is a must-mention. It utilizes warehouses from the
Hokkaido development era, divided into sections like the Glass Museum, Glass
Outlet, and Crystal Museum. In the dimly lit atmosphere of the warehouses,
glass and crystal sparkle beautifully, creating a dreamlike space.
Additionally, Sakaimachi Street is home to various interesting specialty
shops, including general stores and cafes housed in historical buildings. For
those who love knick-knacks and sweets, we recommend setting aside extra time
for sightseeing here.

【Otaru Music Box Museum Steam Clock】

Located at the entrance of the main building of the Otaru Music Box Museum,
this steam clock was built in 1977. It originated in Canada and is the largest
steam clock in the world, as well as one of only two remaining in existence
today. The 5.5-meter-tall clock emits steam and makes a hooting sound from
time to time. In addition to chiming on the hour, the steam clock plays a
simple and pleasant melody every 15 minutes, making it a unique feature that
attracts many people to take photos.

【Cape Kamui, Shakotan Peninsula】

The view from the coastline of the Sea of Japan on Hokkaido's Shakotan
Peninsula is known as 'Deep Blue Shakotan.' The path from the entrance to the
tip of Cape Kamui is about 770 meters long and takes about 20 minutes. As you
walk along the trail, you can admire the highly transparent deep blue Shakotan
waters. Beyond gazing out at the Sea of Japan, you can also enjoy a 300-degree
panoramic view of the horizon from the cliffs, making it one of Hokkaido's
most spectacular sights. Cape Kamui is definitely a must-visit spot when
coming to the Shakotan Peninsula!
