Start your day by exploring the city of Lomé quickly. Continue your day with a visit to the Palace of Governors of Lomé. an iconic building that represents the historical past and heritage of the country. This historic structure served as the residence of German governors during the colonial period when Togo was under German rule. Built in the early 20th century, the palace features a mix of architectural styles reflecting both European influences and local know-how.

Head to Independence Square where you will have a detailed explanation of the symbols of the monument during your visit, we will also tell you the story of Togo during its fight for independence.

Next stop: Togo National Museum to better understand through its art objects all the history and origins of the country today. Wander the bustling market streets towards the Sacré-Cœur Cathedral of Lomé.

Next destination: Lomé Cathedral; it is reminiscent of European churches, in particular the chapel of Sainte Marie in Wurzburg by its colors and, from an architectural point of view, the church of Steyl in the Netherlands. Be amazed by the beauty of Gothic art in a young country, an architectural masterpiece, a superb organ inside.
