Ōtautahi: Christchurch Small-Group Inner City Food Walking Tour
Kai Bites City Tour and Lunch
For KrisFlyer members only
Highlights
Āmiki offers immersive inner‑city walking tours that share the rich culture of Ōtautahi Christchurch with visitors from near and far. Our guided journeys weave through laneways, gardens, and hidden squares—past historic buildings and well‑known landmarks—revealing stories and details often missed in everyday life. Along the way, we share the intertwined Māori and European whakapapa (history) that has shaped the city, offering perspectives rarely heard in traditional tours. As passionate storytellers and keen foodies, we blend history with the region’s vibrant kai (food) and inu (drink) scene, connecting guests with local flavours, people, and places. Each walk is designed to deepen your connection to Ōtautahi through culture, cuisine, and authentic storytelling.

The food was delicious and our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly throughout the tour. We certainly learned a lot about the history of Māori culture in regards to the South Island and Christchurch.
