A 15 km leisurely paddle along the spectacular Finlayson Arm fjord, replete with soaring eagles, curious seals, mist-shrouded vistas and the camaraderie of like-minded adventurers. Stops for photos, lunch and an optional swim in warm weather. The daylong paddle sets off in the morning at Pacifica Paddle Sports in Brentwood Bay. Skillfully timing Brentwood Bays tides and water level, we make our way through Squally Reach (Finlayson Reach), during hightide into Finlayson Arm. We spend the day paddling mindfully through the glacial carved fjord, cedars towering above us, deep clear waters below. This scenery is what British Columbia is known for! Our pace will be relaxed as we don’t want to rush the beauty and tranquillity of this unique experience. It will make you feel worlds away from the bustle of Victoria.
