Angkor Wat is one of Southeast Asia's most significant archaeological sites, known for its monumental size and complex layout.
Banteay Srei is unique for its exquisite pink sandstone and incredibly detailed, three-dimensional carvings, which are considered some of the finest in the world. Its smaller, "miniature" scale, compared to other Angkorian temples, creates an intimate setting, and it was also one of the few temples built by a Brahman courtier, not a king.
