Welcome to the Personal Perfume Making Class!
Scent possesses a special power to stimulate our senses and evoke memories. In
this class held at Futurum Art Studio, you can create your own perfume and
experience the joy of crafting a fragrance that tells your unique story.
Conducted in small groups, the class provides an opportunity to fully express
your individual sensibilities and creativity. Express yourself through your
own scent and create unforgettable moments.

The perfume is used only in classes for educational purposes and is produced
as a product for direct use.
The workshop is open every Monday through Friday, and classes are by
reservation only. Join us for a special experience of creating your own unique

Itinerary
1. Understanding Fragrance Concentrations: Learn about the types of perfumes and their durations based on fragrance concentration, such as Perfume, Eau de Parfum (EDP), and Eau de Toilette (EDT). 2. Scent Note Structure (Olfactive Pyramid): Learn the compositional principles of Top, Middle, and Base notes that change over time. 3. Fragrance Families: Identify the characteristics of major fragrance families, such as Citrus, Floral, Woody, and Musk, as well as methods for harmonious combinations. 4. Mastering Professional Perfumery Tools: Learn the correct usage of blotters for testing and droppers for transferring fragrances.
1. Learning Proper Scent Testing: Learn professional scent testing etiquette, such as folding the edges of the blotter to prevent contact with the fragrance and smelling the lingering scent after the alcohol has dissipated. 2. Single Note Smelling: Conduct 'Olfactive Training' by smelling approximately 30 individual fragrance notes one by one and describing the unique image and feeling of each scent in words. 3. Checking Fragrance Harmony (Accords): Fanning the blotters of selected candidate fragrances to preview the new harmony created when multiple scents are mixed.
1. Final Formulation: Considering the characteristics of the selected ingredients, the input ratios for top, middle, and base notes are determined, and the number of drops is calculated to match the final volume. 2. Compounding: The ingredients are carefully mixed drop by drop to ensure the scent blends well without forming layers. 3. Perfume Base Blending: A perfume alcohol base is added to the combined ingredients to adjust the final concentration, allowing the fragrance to spread smoothly. 4. Bottling & Labeling: The finished perfume is placed in sterilized bottles and labeled to create a one-of-a-kind product. 5. Maceration & Usage Guide: The class concludes with learning the maceration period for the fragrance to blend harmoniously, as well as the correct application and storage methods to enjoy the perfume for a longer and more effective period.
