Important Notes:

1) The itinerary on the day will typically select from the following three
round-trip ferry times to Maria Island. The guide will arrange the hotel
pickup time based on the ferry schedule. Ferry times cannot be changed on the
day.

10:00am departure, 2:30pm return; 11:30am departure, 4:15pm return; 10:00am
departure, 4:15pm return.

2) The Maria Island trip is a hiking excursion. The guide will not accompany
you on the island but will provide all necessary information and precautions
before you board.

3) Guests on the Wineglass Bay day tour may occasionally be arranged in the
same vehicle as guests on the Maria Island day tour, but both itineraries will
be completed as scheduled. This is a standard arrangement for our ground
operator.

4) If you require airport pickup / drop-off on the day of travel, please leave
a note with your flight details after placing your order.

Airport pickup: Flights must arrive before 8:30am on the day. Please be aware
that if the flight is delayed and you are unable to arrive on time, the full
cost will be forfeited and non-refundable.

Airport drop-off: Return flights must be scheduled for after 19:30.

Travelers visiting Tasmania may have heard of Wineglass Bay, Bruny Island, or
Cradle Mountain, but few have likely ventured to Maria Island in the Tasman
Sea, southeast of Tasmania. Covering an area of approximately 115.5 square
kilometers, the island has no permanent residents, no vehicles, no noise, and
no pollution, making it perfect for hiking, cycling, and leisurely
sightseeing. The permanent residents here are the wildlife: wombats,
kangaroos, and Cape Barren geese.
