Secret Spot has 12 hot tubs that are situated along the edge of the forest, overlooking the Puarenga Stream, and each hot tub is perfect for any group of friends or family up to 6 people.
You can also explore our unique café and bar set in a forest oasis with native plantings – we have smooth manuka-roasted coffee, Good George craft beer and cider, and Mills Reef wine. Have a bite to eat, play lawn games and enjoy our outdoor campfires, or unwind with a Shinny Dip foot hot tub, free with any drinks purchase.

Popular with visitors, couples and mountain bikers, Secret Spot Hot Tubs offers private cedar hot pools with drink delivery, sauna and cold plunge experiences, craft beer, street food and café dining surrounded by native New Zealand forest. We're home to popular Shinny Dip foot hot tubs, free with any purchase, as well as the best burgers in Rotorua. About the experience: Soak in your own forest hot tub with cold plunge tubs and drinks delivered at the push of a button. Our fresh (non-geothermal) water is heated to the perfect temperature for you to enjoy a relaxing 45-minute soak. Hot tubs can fit up to six people and come with complimentary drinking water and lockers. You can bring your own swimwear, or we have swimwear, towels, and robes for hire. Check in 15 minutes before your booking. Whether you’re recovering after mountain biking the Redwoods, looking for a unique evening activity in Rotorua, or simply wanting to slow down and recharge, Secret Spot Hot Tubs is the private spa and wellness experience locals and visitors keep coming back to.

Fantastic activity to do after a hard day’s hike. Well set up. Easy to register. Swimsuits provided for a small fee. Then straight to the tub and our ordered drinks were waiting. Close to nature. Highly recommended.

Beautiful spot and love that as a solo traveller I could book a tub for me - without paying for 4 people! Only downside is I was given one quite close to the entry and had a few sticky beaks pop their heads in! Would do again though
