Your journey starts early with scenic pickup before driving to Londorossi Gate. Entering the high-altitude Shira Caldera—an ancient volcanic crater—you'll hike open alpine trails while your local guide shares insights on Kilimanjaro's geology, unique flora like giant lobelias, and Chagga culture. The highlight is Cathedral Point, offering panoramic views of Kibo Peak's glaciers and the plains below, where we pause for a picnic lunch. After taking in the views, we descend pole pole (slowly and comfortably) back to the trailhead, returning you smoothly by evening.
